B-Circadin^TM  is extracted from Lespedeza Capitata (a species of flowering plant from the legume family). It contains key actives carlinoside and isocschaftoside – two glycosylated flavonoids that work to resynchronise the skin's circadian rhythm (the skin and body’s internal clock that tells the body what it has to do at certain times) when it becomes deregulated by exposure to blue light. Exposure to blue light has been shown to disrupt the circadian rhythm, hindering the skin's antioxidant defence and detoxification process.
