Actives

Kakadu Plum Extract, Superox-CTM derived from the native Australian superfruit, Kakadu Plum, this extract contains the worlds highest natural content of Vitamin C, up to 100 times that of oranges, along with an abundance of polyphenols, including gallic and ellagic acids. Kakadu Plum works on stimulating pro-collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis to visibly increase skin radiance, glossiness and luminosity whilst visibly reducing the appearance of fine lines. Superox-CTM is stable at a range of pH levels and non-irritating to the skin.

Clinical testing on this ingredient has shown:

• Up to a 50% increase in natural Hyaluronic Acid production
• Visibly reduced wrinkles in test subjects

In Vivo (on people) testing* has shown:

• 21% reduction in wrinkles after 15 days and 30% reduction after 30 days

Hyaluronic Acid is able to hold up to 1000 times its molecular weight in water and is able to bind water to skin cells. Hyaluronic Acid acts as a humectant surging water deep into the skin and holding onto it after it is collected. The natural acid also fortifies the skins natural lipid barriers, to visibly revitalise the skin. Hyaluronic Acid acts to improve skin pliability and plumping to relieve fine lines, maintain healthy hydration levels, and prevent transepidermal water loss.

Botanicals

Snow Mushroom this edible mushroom contains high amounts of polysaccharides, an ingredient which is powerful in boosting hydration. It acts similarly to Hyaluronic Acid by pulling moisture to the skin. Snow Mushroom has an edge over Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as it contains molecules that are smaller than HA and hence penetrate the skin more easily. It is also rich in fatty acids which can help to retain moisture and stabilise the skin barrier along with kojic acid, known for its skin brightening benefits.

Turmeric Extract is rich in curcumin, a potent antioxidant which has been used in ancient beauty rituals for its ability to lighten and brighten the skin. Curcumin also inhibits acne causing bacteria on the skin and has been shown to be 36 times stronger than azelaic acid, an irritating chemical used in acne treatments.
