How our & Beauty Dew will combat hairloss - a Q&A with Anna Mitsios

Hair loss is so confidence depleting for men but an even more distressing for women, yet is something that there are very few natural solutions for. I had many of my clients complaining to me about their hair loss and asking about natural ways to boost their hair growth. It made sense for me to work on a natural beauty solution that would work at strengthening hair and curbing hair loss in a natural and affordable way, hence why & Beauty Dew was made!

What are the key ingredients in Beauty Dew and what do they do?

Beauty Dew contains Orthosilicic acid which is a highly bio-available form of Silica. It has the ability to support collagen production and strengthen connective tissue –making it a key hair and skin mineral. I refer to it as the “glue” which holds all of your collagen building blocks together!

The Dew also contains a blend of Black Rice and Prickly Pear extracts which have been clinically shown to protect hair follicle cells and combat hair loss linked to hormonal imbalances.

The Dew also contains both Zinc and Vitamin C which are key minerals in supportive healthy collagen production!

How long does it take to see results?

It will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks to reap the benefits of stronger, more lustrous hair and less brittle nails. The lifecycle of hormones is approximately 3 months so it makes sense to have to wait for about the 2 month mark to receive benefits and 3 months to see the maximum impact of taking your Beauty Dew daily!

Anything else to add about how this may help women suffering from thinning hair or hair loss?

I definitely recommend that women who are experiencing thinning hair or hair loss look at boosting their protein intake. The hair is predominantly composed of protein and is one of the last parts of the body to receive nutrients as other vital organs are prioritized when it comes to nutrient delivery. So, if your protein intake is low then you may find your hair is the first place that this will show. Supplementing with a vegan protein powder can be helpful if you are finding your daily intake is below the 50 grams / 1.8ounce mark.

Low iron levels can also mean your hair becomes thin. Getting your levels checked and addressing the cause of low levels is a great idea. Hormonal imbalances can be a key contributor of hair loss. High levels of a hormone known as DHT (Dihydrotestosterone), a hormone linked to testosterone can contribute to hair loss.  Enjoying a diet which is low in Glycaemic Index (GI), upping your intake of green tea and foods rich in zinc (pumpkin seeds are a good source) and reducing your stress levels may also help (although this may be tricky with wedding planning!)
