Unlike conventional antiperspirant deodorants, natural deodorants do not stop your body from perspiring, rather, they work to combat odour and odour-causing bacteria, hence preserving your natural skin microbiome.

Mainstream deodorants and anti-perspirants contain ingredients such as propylene glycol and aluminium salts, which block sweat glands and stop the natural process of sweat. Sweating is not a body action we want to stop as it allows our bodies to excrete toxins and maintain a healthy body temperature.

Our Natural, Zero Waste Deodorant is powered by effective botanical actives including Magnesium Hydroxide, Zinc Ricinoleate and Triethyl Citrate along with anti-microbial Coconut Oil. They work to neutralise odour-causing bacteria by trapping and absorbing odour molecules and inhibiting the breakdown of sweat by bacteria which causes body odour.

The formula also contains Bamboo extract, which helps to absorb moisture, keeping your underarms fresh and dry.

Magnesium Hydroxide, contains anti-microbial qualities, allowing it to neutralise odour-causing bacteria whilst neutralising body's natural PH. It is less irritating than baking soda and is less soluble which means it takes longer to fully dissolve in sweat, leading to more staying power.

Zinc Ricinoleate, is the purified fatty acid from the seeds of the Ricinus Communis (castor oil) plant. It is a highly effective odour-absorbing agent, which works by chemically trapping and absorbing odour molecules formed during the bacterial decomposition of sweat. It is not an antiperspirant and does not inhibit sweat or change skin microflora.

Triethyl Citrate, is produced by the fermentation of citric acid. It works to inhibit the breakdown of sweat by bacteria which causes body odour. 

Organic Coconut Oil, is a beautiful hydrating oil which smells like a tropical holiday. Contains antibacterial properties being the perfect ingredient to keep your armpits healthy and bacteria-free. 

Bamboo, is ideal for absorbing perspiration and keeping you dry and fresh.

Application

Apply by swiping the corner of the block underarms 2 to 3 times after showering and as needed. The natural warmth of your skin will soften the bar to facilitate application. If your bar is hard, warm up with fingertips before applying and ensure you are using the corner of the bar to facilitate application. Store in our 100% recyclable box.
