Although I like this on its own, I seem to get better results when I mix this powder with an unflavoured marine collagen powder. I use 50/50 ratios of each annd mix it all and this combo works so well !

That is correct that only animal products contain collagen. Our collagen is plant based and contains the building blocks to support collagen production and prevent the breakdown of collagen which allows us to name the product collagen.
It specifically contains an abundance of vitamin C, vitmain E and vitamin A along with proline and lysine which are co -factors for collagen production - the antioxidants in the powder help to fight free radical damage which depletes collagen. The Native Collagen Powder is predominantly a source of Vitamin C and antioxidants which are one of the key building blocks to Collagen Production and collagen protection. It works incredibly well with the Complexion Protein+ which provides amino acids, another key building block.
How does this powder provide Collagen? I didn't think there was a plant based Collagen?
